Indirect benefits of forest resources

soil and water conservation: Forest are the best agents of preventing of erosion. In nepal day by day many forest are getting destroyed. Many of the forest land changed into barren land.people they cut down trees for their needs but they do not know what will be the effects of destroying of forest what will be the reasult. The result will be very dangerous which will effect them in future.

Due to deforestation their will be the environmental deterioration, their will be causes watershed degradation so their wiil be affected by the soil erosion and the deterioration of water bodies will increased the incidence of floods which damages properties and may take peoples life.So to prevent this effects forrest should be protected and should plant where there is barren land. Where there will be soil erosion forest helps to protects the soil.due to deforestation drinking water crises is day by day increasing. The under ground water level has gone down and wells have dried up.so forest helps to prevent from this effects.so forest is very very important resources.
  • pollution control:Due to rapid population growth land, water, air are also getting polluted.Integrated management of forests and watersheds can contribute significantly to the contol of pollution and in promotion of water supply.
  • Ecological balance:Forests helps to maintain ecological balance. The forest plants plays an important role to keep ecological balance in regulating the CO2 and O2 balance in the global atomosphere. In the hilly reason forest helps to protect the people, their animals and crops very efficiently.
